Registered Nurse - Hospital

Position

Appleton Area Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Hospital setting. Duties include:

  • Collection and organization of pertinent patient assessment data.

  • Formulate measurable expected outcomes using patient data and standards of care as guides

  • Develop plan of care consistent with assessment data.

  • Develop a plan to provide direct nursing care to attain outcomes

  • Carry out interventions in a safe and timely manner.

  • Document evaluation findings

  • Systemically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.

  • Document in a responsible, accountable and ethical manner. 

  • Actively participate in quality improvement activities.

  • Actively participate in safety and security measures.

 

Education/Experience/Credentials

  • Must be, as a minimum, a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

  • MN RN License

  • ACLS certification

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

RN/LPN Charge Nurse – Care Center

Position

Appleton Area Health is currently hiring a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work in the Care Center as a full-time Day Shift Staff/Charge Nurse.  The primary purpose of this position is to assist with and ensure implementation of individualized Resident care plans in order to meet the physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of Residents in accordance to state & federal regulations & AAH policies and procedures.

Education/Experience/Credentials
  • Must be, as a minimum, a graduate from a LPN training program and possess a current license in the state of Minnesota.

  • ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Housekeeping/Laundry

Position

Housekeeping staff perform a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient room, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of Appleton Area Health Services.

 

Laundry staff performs washing and drying of long term residents, in patients, and other essential laundry used by the facility. May be asked to do other tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications
  • Maintains established AAH standards, departmental policies, performance improvement program, safety, management of information, and infection control standards.

  • Utilizes excellent customer service skills at all times.

  • Complies with federal and state regulations and accrediting and licensing agencies at all times.

  • Work well with others

  • May have less than a high school education, no experience required on-the-job training will be provided.

Cook

Position

Food preparation and delivery of meals to patients and residents, provide dining room service, dishwashing and departmental cleaning.  Follow departmental policies while adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work productively and positively with fellow employees and Dietary Manager

  • Work well with others

  • Be professionals and give guidance to fellow employees when needed

  • Requires working around heat from stove/oven and steam from food/steamer

  • Requires frequent standing and walking.

CNA - Care Center (Day & Night shift)

Position

The primary purpose of your position, as a nursing assistant, is to assist residents with activities of daily living in order to meet their physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual needs.  The care you provide is in accordance with the resident’s individualized plan of care and established policies and procedures.

Education/Experience/Credentials
  • Must have a Minnesota Nursing Assistant Certification (if you are interested in this position but not yet certified, AAH is willing to train/certify candidates after completion of hiring process)
