The OR Manager is responsible for managing the Surgery Department. The OR Manager will plan, organize, and direct all department functions and activities; be responsible to establish goals, objectives, standards and regulations related to personnel, patients, medical staff partner organizations and the public. Adherence to Code of Ethics for Nurses. Adherence to the American Nurses Association Standard of Practice for professional nurses. Maintains confidentiality when dealing with all customers.
Bachelor of Nursing
Current Minnesota RN License
Three (3) years of clinical experience including leadership experience as OR Supervisor)
ACLS Certified preferable (mandatory requirement after hiring.
Functions in a staff relationship with other department heads.
Builds effective working relationships with others.
Expresses appreciation to others for their work. Treats others with respect.
Works cooperatively with area health care agencies and community groups to improve patient care and health of the community.
Communicates with medical, nursing, social services, and ancillary services regarding information and actions necessary to provide patient care.

Assist in food preparation and delivery of meals to patients and residents, provide dining room service while documenting meal and fluid intake, dishwashing and department cleaning. Follow departmental policies. Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
Must be able to work productively and positively with fellow employees and Dietary Manager; work well with others; be professionals and give guidance to fellow employees when needed. Requires working around heat from stove/oven and steam from food/steamer. Requires frequent standing and walking.

Appleton Area Health is currently hiring a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work in the Care Center as a full-time Day Shift Staff/Charge Nurse. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with and ensure implementation of individualized Resident care plans in order to meet the physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of Residents in accordance to state & federal regulations & AAH policies and procedures.
Must be, as a minimum, a graduate from a LPN training program and possess a current license in the state of Minnesota.
ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
