Accountant/Patient Accounts Representative

Position - Business Office

Appleton Area Health is currently seeking an Accountant/Patient Accounts Representative. This individual is responsible in assisting the CFO and Business Office Manager in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and reconciliation as well as assisting in billing, invoicing, audits, budgeting, and prior authorizations.

  • Associates degree preferred.

Rehab Coordinator

Position - Care Center

Appleton Area Health is currently seeking an individual to collaborate with RN supervisor, RN Case Managers, Assistant Director of Nursing, and the  Director of Nursing to implement, organize, and sustain a successful Restorative program in the Care Center.  The job will demand a high level of energy, a positive attitude, and compassionate care. Employee is responsible for:

  • Ensuring rehab exercise and range of motion activity are completed on a daily basis.

  • Documenting, and reporting pertinent data to RN. 

  • Documenting resident assessments and for routine monitoring with oversight of an RN.

  • Development of personalized care plans relating to each individual participating in the rehab program with the oversight of an RN.

Rehab CNA

Position - Care Center

Appleton Area Health is currently seeking an individual to collaborate with Rehab Coordinator to implement, organize, and sustain a successful Restorative program in the Care Center.  The job will demand a high level of energy, a positive attitude, and compassionate care. Essential functions include:

  • Recommend, implement and carry through policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to restorative services.

  • Participate in implementation of educational programs designed to improve resident care and educate staff.

  • Creating a positive exercise environment which encourages resident participation in which they can excel.

  • Assist residents with all activities of daily living.

  • Maintain supplies, collection of data associated with the restorative program, and documenting data collected in the appropriate location.

  • Communicate effectively with all staff, residents, and family members.

  • Report concerns to supervisor.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification

Licensed Practical Nurse/Certified Medical Assistant

Position - Clinic

Appleton Area Health is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to work in the Clinic assisting providers with patient care taking patient vital signs, collecting blood and other specimens, and giving vaccinations and injections.  The LPN/CMA will perform miscellaneous clinic duties in connection with referrals, appointment scheduling, management of patient medical records, and ordering medical and office supplies.

Education/Experience/Credentials
  • Must be, as a minimum, a graduate from a LPN training program and possess a current license in the state of Minnesota or a graduate from a Medical Assistant Program and possess and certificate in good standing.

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Basic Care Aide

Position - Care Center

The primary purpose of your position, as a Basic Care Aide, is to provide personal care and delegated nursing services designed to maintain the clients’ physical and emotional well being.

Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse

Position - Care Center (Monday night only)

Appleton Area Health is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to work in the Care Center one night shift per week. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with and ensure implementation of individualized Resident care plans in order to meet the physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of Residents in accordance to state & federal regulations & AAH policies and procedures.

Education/Experience/Credentials

  • Must be, as a minimum, a Registered Nurse and possess a current license in the state of Minnesota or a graduate from a LPN training program and possess a current license in the state of Minnesota.

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

Certified Nursing Assistant

Position - Care Center (Day shift)

The primary purpose of your position, as a nursing assistant, is to assist residents with activities of daily living in order to meet their physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual needs.  The care you provide is in accordance with the resident’s individualized plan of care and established policies and procedures.

Education/Experience/Credentials
  • Must have a Minnesota Nursing Assistant Certification (if you are interested in this position but not yet certified, AAH is willing to train/certify candidates after completion of hiring process)
