We offer a High Complexity Diagnostic Laboratory, that provides routine and emergency  testing 24 hours a day.  

 

We offer the convenience of completing tests ordered from providers outside of Appleton Area Health.  Our lab can easily complete tests and and send results to any ordering provider.

 

Accredited by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) and CLIA, Lab is under the direction of a Pathologist (MD) who is specially trained and qualified; managed by a Medical Technologist; and staffed by Medical Lab Technicians.

We're affiliated with the American Red Cross which makes blood products available for all emergencies.

Appleton Area Health offers Direct Lab Access which allows your to have the following tests completed without a Provider order:

• CBC (Complete Blood Count)

• BMP (Basic Metabolic Profile)

• Electrolyte Panel

• Lipid Profile (Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides)

• Pregnancy Test

• Strep Screen

• Urine Drug Screen

• Hemoglobin A1C

• Glucose (blood sugar)

• TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone)

• PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen)

• Urine Dipstick (Microbiology if needed)

• HBSAB (Hepatitis B Surface Antibody)
